We are seeking a talented and motivated Technology apprentices to join our engineering team. In this role, you will work directly with our technical leadership to support the development and integration of our API-driven payment orchestration platform. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fintech infrastructure, blockchain technology, and cross-border payment systems while contributing to a product that is reshaping how money moves across borders.

Job Scope

API Development and Integration

● Assist in the design, development, and testing of RESTful APIs that connect our platform with financial institution partners

● Support the implementation of API authentication, security protocols, and data validation mechanisms

● Help document API specifications and create integration guides for partner onboarding

● Participate in code reviews and implement feedback from senior engineers

Technical Implementation

● Contribute to backend development using modern programming languages and frameworks

● Assist in implementing and testing payment orchestration workflows

● Support the development of our transaction routing engine and settlement mechanisms

● Help build monitoring tools for API performance and transaction processing

Testing and Quality Assurance

● Develop and execute test cases for API functionality and integration

● Participate in troubleshooting and debugging integration issues

● Assist in implementing automated testing frameworks for continuous integration

● Document test results and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Technical Documentation

● Create and maintain technical documentation for internal and external use

● Develop code samples and implementation examples for partner integration

● Assist in creating diagrams and visual aids to explain technical concepts

● Contribute to knowledge base articles and developer resources

Learning and Development

● Gain exposure to fintech infrastructure, payment systems, and blockchain technology

● Learn about regulatory compliance requirements in financial services

● Participate in technical planning sessions and sprint planning

● Early participation in a Web 2.5 start-up with upside potential

Requirements

● Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

● Interest in fintech, payment systems, or blockchain technology

● Have completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field

● Strong programming fundamentals with experience in at least one modern programming language

● Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and web services

● Familiarity with database concepts and SQL

● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

● Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience with API development or integration projects

● Familiarity with payment systems or financial services technology

● Knowledge of security best practices for financial applications

● Interest in cross-border payments and emerging financial technologies
