KYDP Data Analytics (Cohort 3)

Organizations in all industries increasingly rely on data to make critical business decisions, the job of the data analyst is to assign a numerical value to these important business functions so performance can be assessed and compared over time. The responsibilities of a data analyst typically include (but not limited to) the following:
Designing and maintaining data systems and databases; this includes fixing coding errors and other data-related problems.
Mining data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganizing said data in a format that can be easily read by either human or machine.
Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
Preparing reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
After the completion of your 4-month OJT, you may progress to the available role(s) below:
1. Software Developer

If you’re a graduate from any field with Python experience and a burning desire to learn and grow, we want you on our team.
No IT degree? No problem! We believe in potential, passion, and the power of curiosity. We understand that the ability to code can be found across all disciplines, which is why we welcome graduates from all fields of study. However you must have done some amount of coding and courses and experimented on your own for some reasonable time
About The Role:
This unique opportunity allows you to contribute directly to our trailblazing projects. As a Software Developer at ehs tools, you’ll be leveraging Python, Django, and Pandas, other technology stacks to shape the future of the Malaysian Oil & Gas industry. Your coding skills, ideas, and drive will be integral to our team from day one.
About You:
You hold a degree in any discipline and have some academic or professional experience in Python.
Experience with the Pandas library and/or data science would be advantageous but is not a requirement.
You have a passion for learning, expanding your skills in software development, and a drive to grow with our company.
You’re ready to contribute to a start-up environment and leave your mark on the Oil & Gas industry.
You’re equipped with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic.
Perhaps you might even want a career switch and have been dabbling in python for some time
