What is the K-Youth Development Programme?
It is a structured talent development programme in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and Khazanah Nasional Berhad, where TalentLabs will provide extensive skills training and career placement support.
How much does this programme cost?
Not only is it FREE, but you will also receive a salary of RM 2,500 per month, throughout the 4-month programme.
Am I eligible to take part in this programme?
You will be eligible to take part in the programme if you meet the criteria below:
- Malaysian citizen, 30 years and below as of 2025
- Minimum Bachelor's degree qualification from an IPTA, IPTS or foreign university
- Currently in your 3rd year (semester 5 or 6) of your degree programme
- Currently unemployed
- Strong command of English
- STEM background preferred but not required
What is the selection process like?
Our rigorous selection process involves application reviews for eligibility, virtual interviews via an AI model, and online assessments (computational and aptitude) to assess logical thinking and culture fit.
What is the structure of the programme?
The programme spans 4 months, with 1-month of online learning to enhance your skills and 3-months of on-the-job training with our hiring partners.

Will I receive a certificate after completing the programme?
Certainly! Upon completing your chosen course, you will be awarded a certificate of completion. Many of our alumni leverage this certificate to showcase their acquired skills to potential employers.
Will I be provided a salary during the programme?
Yes, you will receive a monthly salary of RM2,500, which includes statutory contributions (such as EPF, SOCSO, etc.). This financial support will continue throughout the programme as long as you meet the specified criteria and accomplish the weekly milestones. It's important to note that any relocation allowance WILL NOT be offered.
