JOB DESCRIPTION

Ensure that any request is followed with proper work order that had been signed by authorized department and keep record of it.

Maintenance in conjunction with the security locks and keys system .

Ensure the condition of all Hotel equipment relevant to Maintenance Department.

Monitor temperature control levels  in all public areas and guest rooms to ensure that the temperature set is comfortable to all guests.

Ensure fused and bulbs are change immediately when required.

Responsible for the preventive maintenance for the required work areas such as public areas, service lift, guest rooms, housekeeping equipment and food and beverage equipment.

Able to do simple wiring regarding telephone and electrical faulty.

Able to do simple plumbing repairs such as blocked drain, basin and replacing tap washer and soap dispenser.

Carry out minor repair damage to furniture, minor building damages as doors, windows, hardware and other interior decoration work.

Carry out touch up, painting, masonry and woodwork.

To conduct periodic checks on execution of policies and procedures.

Read daily maintenance log book for follow up on any work order to be done.

Report to Front Office regarding guest room complaints and take immediate action if necessary accompanied by work order form.

Ensure a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel policies relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety of Hotel guests and staffs.
